The Consumer/Survivor Network Central West (CSN-CW) is funded through the Central West Local Health Integration Network (CW LHIN). The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care split Ontario into 14 LHIN areas. The LHIN is the body which decides where funding is directed locally. When you view the map you will be able to see if you are a resident of CW LHIN.

The CSN, which is a program of Friends & Advocates Peel, gives Mental Health Consumers a chance to voice their opinions about the services in Central West, such as what needs exist and service gaps. This voice can take many forms such as through Meetings, Reports, Surveys and Conferences. The Coordinator of the CSN has a seat on the Mental Health and Addiction Core Action Group of the CW LHIN providing a standing report. This process provides, for the first time in Ontario, the consumer a “voice” informing where the funding is directed.
